We will continue utilizing the daily calendar/reflection page as the primary means of communication about homework expectations. • Read for pleasure. Grapple with non-fiction. Explore the public library.
• Play a spelling or vocabulary game. Create a word puzzle (Try www.puzzlemaker.com). Memorize a poem or famous speech.
• Stretch your passport preparation. Design a map quiz. Discover something to share about culture, history, geography...
• Practice cursive or artistic printing in a journal. Complement your writing with colorful art and doodles.
• Master your Math Facts. Strive for 100% accuracy and 3 seconds/fact facility.
• Work on Conference Goals. Organize your binder. Clean out backpack!
• Explore the Internet with parent/guardian approval. Play a board or card game.
• Create art. Sing! Practice a musical instrument. Be dramatic!
• Exercise your body. Tickle your pet behind its ears.
• Perform an act of community service.
