- Read for pleasure. Grapple with
non-fiction. Explore the public library.
- Play a spelling or vocabulary game.
Create a word puzzle (Try www.puzzlemaker.com). Memorize a poem or
famous speech.

Design a map quiz. Discover something to share about culture,
history, geography...
- Practice cursive or artistic printing in
a journal. Complement your writing with colorful art and
doodles.
- Master your Math Facts. Strive for 100%
accuracy and 3 seconds/fact facility.
- Work on Conference Goals. Organize your
binder. Clean out backpack!
- Explore the Internet with
parent/guardian approval. Play a board or card game.
