9:15 Circle Time. Shared reading. Interactive, predictions, cloze technique, conventions of print, guided questions, participation through retelling, movement, drama, chanting. Morning message, word wall words introduced, letter/sound.word work, reading and writing skills modeled.

9:35 Reading/literacy centers/groups. Children go to independent centers when work is completed or work out of reading folders.

10:20 Morning recess.

10:35 Songs, poems and story.

10:50 Writing lesson, vocabulary visit, DOL, poetry reading, sound sharing.
