During the 1999 - 2000 school year, McKenny Elementary Staff and Students worked together to create a native plant garden on our school grounds. We researched and learned about native plants, salvaged plants during the winter months, and began preparing the site in the spring. Our project was greatly helped when we were adopted by the Native Plants Salvage Team. The following web pages document our project and our learning.
