There is no room at school for extra pencil boxes, trapper keepers or anything “bigger and better” can lead to problems we would prefer to avoid. Thanks for your cooperation. First Grade Please label these items below with child’s name before the first day of school. Please write your child’s name in his/her coat & backpack 1 package large thick tipped colored markers 1 package large fine tipped colored markers 2 packages colored pencils 1 pair of child Fiskars scissors School box for storing supplies – approx 8 1/2 x 5 1 set of watercolor paints The following items will be part of a central supply and need not be labeled with student’s name. 1 box Crackers for September snack 1 disposable camera 1 box of tissue 1 bottle hand santizer 2 dozen #2 pencils (Dixon Ticonderoga preferred brand) 1 package pencil top erasers 1 box sandwich baggies 12 glue sticks, not blue or purple please 2 boxes of crayons #24 or 1 box of 48 1 box gallon zip lock baggies 1 box plastic spoons 1 Sharpie fine point, not ultra fine Last name begins with A-L please bring Mr. Sketch Smelly markers. If your last name starts with M-Z please bring 1 package napkins Second Grade Please label these items below with child’s name before the first day of school. 1 box of crayola crayons (no more than 24) 1 package large, thick tipped colored felt markers 1 pair child’s Fiskars scissors (Fiskars seem to be the best) 1 small container for crayons and markers Book bag or back pack 1 spiral notebook, wide rule, no perforations 1 package play-doh – 3 in a pack (Johnson/Simmons) The following items will be part of a central supply and need not be labeled with student’s name. 2 large pink erasers 4 “UHU stick” glue sticks - .74 oz. (UHU stick is the preferred brand) 2 dozen pencils to share (Dixon Ticonderoga) 1 large box tissues Please no Trapper Keepers, 3 ring binders, or other large items. Be sure names are on all items indicated. Please write your child’s name in his/her coat & backpack. Optional donations – Choose 1 of the following items – thin large paper plates, brown lunch bags, zip lock gallon or quart size plastic bags Third Grade Please label these items below with child’s name before the first day of school. 1 backpack or book bag (essential for organizational purposes – needed daily to carry things from school to home and back again.) Scissors (good quality, pointed scissors that cut well) 2 70-sheet wide ruled spiral notebooks (WIDE-RULED ONLY. Paper should not be perforated so that it tears out too easily.) 1 package blank cards for letter writing (thank-you type, not index cards) The following items will be part of a central supply and need not be labeled with student’s name. 1 Wide Ruled notebook paper (150 sheets or smaller package) 2 pink erasers (no pencil-top erasers please) 4 glue sticks 1 set colored pencils 24 #2 pencils (no Eagle or Sanford brand please) 1 box tissues 1 set color coded pocket folders (blue, yellow and green) Last name begins with A-L please bring 1 bottle hand sanitizer (12oz). Book bag or back pack Three ring binder with dividers Paperback dictionary 1 extra package dividers with labels 1 drawing tablet (8 1/2 x 11) 3 packages Notebook paper – 300 count or more 4 dozen #2 pencils 2 ballpoint pens (blue or black ink) 4 red marking pens 4 spiral notebooks (100 pages or more) 4 folders 1 pair scissors 6 glue sticks 1 box Kleenex – large, to leave at school 1 12” clear plastic ruler (with inches AND centimeters) 3 fine tip permanent black sharpie marker 2 highlighters Colored Pencils – box of 12 or more Colored markers – box of 12 or more 1 watercolor set – make sure you have a good brush – mark with name Recommended but not required: basic calculator thin point markers Please write your child’s name in his/her coat & Backpack, lunch container and supplies.
